Yo hey so my laptop is broken and ive been using my best friends old laptop (with no battery life whatsoever) and im 'overstepping my welcome' or something on having it near to a month now

and i tried repairing my old laptops motherboard with the help of a friends dad and it worked

for 5 seconds

and now i have a totally broken motherboard, down 50+ bucks from all the equipment and parts i had to buy and im broke
ive been trying to get a job at the neighborhood bike shop and it looks very good for me but i cant get work till bike season so no money till then

my mother will not make a deal with me to get a new one and ill pay her back once im working so im stuck in a bad place

i do all my work on my laptop, (art, web design, gaming, school, etc.) and im very emotionally attached to my laptop so this is much harder to deal with than just a favorite pair of headphones breaking
